    Januari 2023 – April 2025

    .NET Software Engineer (Lead)

Qii is a company with a focus on sharing personal online information in a safe and secure way. Security is key at Qii. Customers require user information for various business cases like rental/student housing, loans, mortgage, financing. We help users supply this information to our customers. My main responsibilities at Qii are maintaining the production system, creating and releasing new features and guide the Scrum process. With 3 software developers working for Qii, my day to day responsibilities vary a lot. I work with various frameworks like .NET8 (C#), XUnit, EF, Razor, OpenIddict (OAuth). New things I learned at Qii are app and web development, creation of endpoints/web based communication, configuration management (middleware), maintaining a live online system and using tools like Postman, Ngrok.

  • CathVision | Copenhagen

    May 2020 – Januari 2023

    .NET Software Engineer (Senior)

CathVision is a small startup. They’ve made an amplifier that has low noise and is connected to Catheters that are used for heart surgery. My responsibilities are coaching and leading the development of the amplifier recording software. In a new and first in-house software team. I also had the roles of Scrum Master and DevOps Engineer in this team. When it comes to medical software that is used in life-threatening situations (ablation surgery) it's very important to make a highly maintainable and testable product. Our code, processes and quality control got approved by the FDA which means that software that I helped build is allowed to be used in surgeries across the US. I used tools and frameworks like .NET6 (C#), Azure DevOps, XUnit, SQLite, WPF & LightningChart, ReSharper, SonarCloud, LinqPad.

  • Noldus | Wageningen

    August 2018 – May 2020

    .NET Software Engineer

Noldus is a company that makes innovative solutions for animal and human behavior analysis, helping researchers to perform their experiments. In August 2018 I moved from the prototyping team to one of the main development teams. In this team we were responsible for making distributed tracking software in C#, and I worked on both the frond-end and back-end of the software (TrackLab™). I learned how to build installers through WIX, how to setup a LoRa communication system. And I became the scrum master of the team.

  • Noldus | Wageningen

    April 2015 - August 2018

    Software Engineer

I started as an intern at Noldus at the end of 2014 where I made a live viewer for visualization of experiment data in JavaScript (N-View). After the internship I started in a prototyping team were I made various prototypes, the biggest prototype was the integration of multiple sensors to analyze mental workload of people while performing driving tasks (DriveLab). I also made prototypes in C#, Java (for Android), learned how to link various systems to a message broker (RabbitMQ) and learned how to setup and communicate with REST API’s. Besides prototyping I also spent time coaching interns by helping them find their way in the company and discussing their research methods and results.
